In January of 2019, LGBTQ leaders and community members will convene in Detroit, MI to attend the National Conference on LGBTQ Equality: Creating Change. For the seventh time in the conference’s history, and in a very crucial period in the road towards equality and social justice, the conference will host a Latinx Institute. The Unión=Fuerza Latinx Institute will bring together diverse groups of LGBTQ Latina/os and allies from across the country to foster supportive relationships and build each others' capacity to advance LGBTQ Latina/o activism.
Make a donation today to provide travel grants  for young people, transgender Lati
na/os, DREAMers, immigrants, and other high-needs participants to
help them contribute something meaningful to a national LGBTQ Latino dialogue.
The day-long training will take place on January 24, 2019 at the Detroit Marriott of the Renaissance Center in Detroit, Michigan. This is the only annual national gathering where LGBTQ Latina/os can network, learn best practices, and advance equality for LGBT and Latino communities in a culturally competent, bilingual space.
