In January of 2018, LGBTQ leaders and community members will convene in Washington, DC to attend the National Conference on LGBTQ Equality: Creating Change. And, for the sixth time in the conference’s history, in a very crucial time in the road towards equality and social justice, the conference will host a Latino Institute. The Unión=Fuerza Latino Institute will bring together diverse groups of LGBTQ Latina/os and allies from across the country to foster supportive relationships and build each others' capacity to advance LGBTQ Latina/o activism.
Make a donation today to provide travel grants to young people, transgender Latina/os, DREAMers, immigrants and other high-needs participants to contribute something meaningful to a national LGBTQ Latino dialogue. The day-long training will take place on January 25, 2018 at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. This is the only national gathering where LGBTQ Latina/os can network, learn best practices, and advance equality for LGBT and Latino communities in a culturally competent, bilingual space. Donations made by December 31st will be doubled with a matching fund for all donations up to $1,000!
